Spike TV’s Ren & Stimpy want to play pinball with you on your cellular phone.
The network signed a multiyear licensing deal with Sorrent Inc. to publish wireless games based on the adult cartoon, Sorrent announced Tuesday.
Its “Ren & Stimpy Pinball” is now available to Sprint PCS Vision customers and subscribers to other major U.S. wireless carriers, Sorrent said.
The company added that other Ren & Stimpy-based games are in the works.
“Ren & Stimpy's special brand of humor has kept fans laughing for years," Sorrent president of publishing Ray Schaaf said in a prepared statement. “The license from Spike TV is a perfect fit for today's mobile gamer -- entertaining, easy to pick-up and nearly impossible to put down.”
