ReelzChannel Sets 9/11 Special

ReelzChannel said it will air a Sept. 9 special surrounding the effects of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the entertainment industry.

The one hour special, 9/11- Ten Years Later, will examine how the events of that day affected the world of movies, entertainment and pop culture through personal stories from those who lived through it, according to network officials.

"This event altered the course of our country's history and had a profound impact on every sector of our lives, entertainment included," said Steve Holzer, Executive Producer of ReelzChannel Original Programming in a statement. "Our viewers will hear extraordinary accounts from people who experienced it first hand as well as stories of how Hollywood responded and continues to channel uplift through inspiring movies, concerts and festivals."
