Reality Pair Returns to Lifetime

Lifetime Television has ordered 13 new episodes apiece of reality series Merge and Head 2 Toe, the network said Thursday.

Merge returns to the network Friday, Jan. 7 at 11 p.m. (EST/PST), while Head 2 Toe comes back Saturday, Jan. 8 at 11:30 a.m.

Merge, hosted by Lisa Rinna (Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, Lifetime’s Sex, Lies and Obsession), helps newlyweds to decide just how prized their favorite possessions really are.

And Head 2 Toe, hosted by Tanika Ray (Extra, Lifetime Now), is a makeover show that lets two women decide what to change about the other.

“Both shows have built a strong following and have provided solid building blocks for our schedule,” Lifetime senior vice president of reality programming Bill Brand said in a prepared statement.

“Lisa and Tanika bring such dynamic energy to their respective shows, and we look forward to continuing America’s makeover, one house and one viewer at a time,” he added.
