Ray Romano is the next celebrity to gain a helping hand from Tiger Woods's swing coach Hank Haney.
The Emmy Award winner and Everybody Loves Raymond star has signed on as Haney's next celebrity golf student, following in the rather large shoes of Charles Barkley.
Scheduled to debut in spring 2010, the series will follow the same format that made the premiere season of The Haney Project, with Romano attempting to improve his golf game under the tutelage of Haney, as the two will begin working together this fall.
"We are very excited for Ray Romano to be joining the Golf Channel family," said Golf senior vice president of programming, production and operations Tom Stathakes in a statement. The first season of The Haney Project was a giant success for us. With Ray's sense of humor and dedication to improving his golf game, we are confident season two will be bigger than ever."
