Two surprise winners took home awards in the best actor and actress in a drama categories.

Pose’s Billy Porter took home the Emmy award for lead actor in a drama series for his role in FX’s Pose, besting Better Call Saul’s Bob Odenkirk, Game Of Thrones’ Kit Harington, Ozark’s Jason Bateman, This is Us’ Milo Venrimiglia and Sterling K. Brown.

Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer won for best actress in a drama series, topping series co-star and category favorite Sandra Oh, Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, House Of Cards’ Robin Wright, How to Get Away With Murder’s Viola Davis; Ozark’s Larua Linney and This Is Us’ Mandy Moore.
