Planet Green Renews 'Beekman Boys'

Planet Green Monday announced that it has greenlit a second season of its reality series The Fabulous Beekman Boys.
The sophomore season of the series, which follows urbanite couple Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell as they take over a farm in upstate New York, will air during the first half of 2011, according to network officials.
"The Fabulous Beekman Boys has quickly established itself as a cornerstone franchise for Planet Green and our Verge [primetime programming] block-we can't wait for season two," said Laura Michalchyshyn, President and General Manager of Planet Green in a statement.
Planet Green will air the first nine episodes of season one of The Fabulous Beekman Boys throughout the day on Aug. 11, leading into the season finale of the show's freshman campaign that evening at 9 p.m.
