Longtime analyst Billy Packer and three-time NCAA-winning coach Bob Knight will team on a series of five shows for FSN examining the upcoming men's basketball tournament.
Billy Packer's Survive and Advance tips Sunday March 15, after the brackets have been announced and will air fresh episodes on March 22 and 29 and on April 3, the day before the Final Four from Detroit's Ford Field and April 5, the night before the national championship game.
Hosted at Wynn Las Vegas, the series, providing previews and analysis, will feature Packer, who had called CBS's coverage of the Final Four through the 2008 season and Knight, men's college basketball's winningest coach and an analyst for ESPN.
They will be joined by former NCAA stars Isiah Thomas, Steve Alford, David Thompson and Christian Laettner, plus national championship winning coaches Jerry Tarkanian (UNLV in 1990), Rollie Massimino (Villanova in 1985 and Denny Crum (Lousiville in 1980 and 1986). A handful of celebrities will also pop by the set to weigh in on the tournament.
