Oxygen Inks Supermodel Campbell To Star in New Competition Series

Oxygen will tap famed supermodel Naomi Campbell to star in a new modeling-themed reality competition series.

The show, The Face, will feature several up and coming models who will be put through the paces of becoming a professional model by several supermodel coaches, according to network officials. The winner of the competition will become the "face" of an as yet determined major national brand, representing the company in print, on-air and at major brand-hosted events, the network said.

"The Face'is a fresh new series that delivers all the elements our audience craves: fashion, beauty and drama," said Rod Aissa, senior vice resident, original programming and development for Oxygen Media in a statement. "Oxygen has been looking for the next ideation in the modeling genre and this project delivers it."
