OWN To Air 'All My Children,' 'One Life To Live' Episodes

OWN will bring soap operas All My Children and One Life To Live back to television for a 10-week limited engagement run beginning in July.

The basic cable network has acquired the first 40 episodes of each soap series -- which since April 29 has been running online via The OnLine Network -- and will air the episodes Monday through Thursday beginning July 15, according to network officials. All My Children (pictured) will air at 1 p.m., while One Life To Live will run at 3 p.m.

All My Children and One Life To Live aired on broadcast network ABC for more than 40 years before being cancelled in 2011.

"These shows have proven to be very popular with a significant, loyal fan base, not to mention Oprah herself is a big fan,” said Erik Logan, president, OWN in a statement.  “Many of our viewers across numerous platforms have expressed their passion for the soaps so we are especially excited to air this limited engagement on OWN.”
