The $6 billion merger between NTL Inc. and Telewest Global Inc. is a done deal.
Beginning Monday, shares of the combined company will be quoted on the NASDAQ National Market under the ticker symbol "NTLID," which will eventually change to "NTLI,” the two U.K.-based MSOs said.
Each company announced Thursday that approximately 99% of respective shares voted signed off on the deal.
The agreement, announced in October, joins the two largest cable operators in Britain.
