Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks have signed a one-year agreement for Nielsen Sports’ new service, Sponsorship Scorecard, a Web-based product that provides teams and advertisers with ratings for sponsorships.
The Diamondbacks were one of the charter members of the Sponsorship Scorecard service for the 2004 MLB season.
“The Sponsorship Scorecard service has been valuable in helping us to retain and grow our corporate partnerships,” Diamondbacks vice president of sales and marketing Mark Fernandez said. “We are in such a competitive sports market and we need every tool possible to achieve success with our sponsorship sales.”
