Nickelodeon Sets June Date for ‘Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader’ Premiere

Nickelodeon on June 10 will debut its reboot of the Fox broadcasting game show Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader.

The series, hosted by WWE Superstar John Cena, will follows the original premise of kids helping adult contestants put their knowledge to the test with questions taken directly from an elementary school curriculum. After its premiere, the series will air new episodes from June 17- 19 before moving to its regular Monday timeslot on June 24, said network officials.

Are You Smarter Than A 5thGrader is executive produced by Cena, Mark Burnett, MGM Chairman of Worldwide Television (Survivor, The Voice) and Barry Poznick, MGM President, Unscripted Television (Beat Shazam, The World's Best).
