Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. will present special programming for Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15-Oct. 15, the network said Monday.
Nickelodeon will commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month with several special episodes of Nick News with Linda Ellerbee, as well as the basic-cable premiere of movie Princess & the Barrio Boy.
Nick Jr. will contribute special programming marathons and episodes of Dora the Explorer.
“With all of the culturally relevant programming and off-channel events throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, we hope to empower kids to proudly celebrate their heritage,” Nickelodeon Television president Cyma Zarghami said in a prepared statement.
