Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. will kick off their “Let's Just Play” initiative this summer.
The campaign will feature interactive interstitial programming and new spots that incorporate healthy messaging encouraging kids to be active, and it wraps up with Nick’s second-annual “Worldwide Day of Play” Oct. 1.
During Worldwide Day of Play, the network “will go dark for three hours to empower kids around the world to learn about active, positive lifestyles and make better, healthier choices,” Nick said in a release.
This marks the third year for Nick’s Let's Just Play initiative, which recently won four Cable Television Public Affairs Association “Beacon Awards.”
