Nickelodeon will debut new Nicktoon series Catscratch with back-to-back half-hour episodes Saturday, July 9 from 8 p.m.-9 p.m. (EST/PST), the network said Thursday.
Catscratch -- which the network described as a “series that follows three rich felines as they drum up trouble in a world of humans” -- will move into a regular time slot Fridays at 8:30 p.m.
"Catscratch is wonderfully offbeat,” Nick executive vice president of development and original programming Marjorie Cohn said in a prepared statement. “The cats are a bit like The Three Stooges and The Beverly Hillbillies, and the results are chaotic and hilarious. Whether the cats' intentions are selfish, honorable or absurd, they always land in a big heap of trouble."
