Newsmax Adds Talk Radio Hosts Wayne Allyn Root, Todd Schnitt To Lineup

Independent-leaning cable news network Newsmax has added shows featuring talk show radio hosts Wayne Allyn Root and Todd Schnitt to its daily lineup.

The Schnitt Show will air weekdays on Newsmax and feature the distinctly independent, libertarian-leaning views of its host, while WAR Now: The Wayne Allyn Root Show -- a joint venture with USA Radio Network – will air weeknights and features the conservative-leaning Root.

“At Newsmax TV, we hear from our audience that they are hungry for thoughtful, passionate voices for viewpoints that other media outlets ignore,” Newsmax Media CEO Christopher Ruddy said in a statement. “Todd Schnitt and Wayne Allyn Root are proven broadcasting leaders and we’re sure our viewers will engage with them.”
