Showtime has the solution for new subscribers with a sweet tooth.
Beginning in October, new subscribers to the premium network will receive books of coupons good for 12 pints of Haagen-Dazs ice cream -- one pint per month for one year -- after submitting three monthly cable or direct-broadcast satellite bills.
“Almost everyone loves ice cream, so we felt that this campaign would appeal to even the most difficult-to-reach consumer," Showtime vice president of promotions and partnership marketing Rick King said in a prepared statement.
"Our marketing research suggested that people view Haagen-Dazs as a top-quality brand and would be very likely to take advantage of this unique promotional offer,” he added.
