Morgan Keegan & Co. analyst Murray Arenson restated an "outperform" rating on Pinnacle Systems Inc., citing recent product releases that will help insulate the company from overall market weakness. Products introduced at the National Association of Broadcasters' convention include digital-video editing equipment, servers for video storage and Internet-broadcasting equipment. Also, Time Warner Cable in April agreed to buy about $5 million worth of Pinnacle gear for its New York 1 News channel. Pinnacle, which stood at $12.95 after recent deal announcements, closed at $10.25 on May 9.
