Netflix Sets September ‘Narcos’ Date

Netflix will bring back its drug-themed drama series Narcos for a sophomore campaign in September, the OTT service announced Monday.

The series, which chronicles the gripping real-life stories of the infamous drug kingpins of the late 1980s and the law enforcement agencies set to track them down, will return on Sept. 2, said network officials.

José Padilha (Elite Squad,RoboCop) and Eric Newman (Children of Men) serve as executive producers of Narcos, which is produced by Gaumont International Television for Netflix.
