Netflix Sets March Date for ‘Marvel’s Iron Fist’

Netflix has set a March release date for its new original series Marvel’s Iron Fist, the OTT service announced Tuesday.

The series, the fourth Marvel-inspired series to premiere on Netflix, will debut March 17. The series stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand, a billionaire who returns to New York City in an effort to connect with his family legacy while using his mastery of kung-fu and other special powers to fight against the city’s criminal element.

Marvel’s Iron Fist follows the series premieres of Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and Marvel’s Luke Cage on the streaming service. A fifth series, Marvel’s The Defenders, will combine the main characters of all four series, said Netflix.
