Netflix Renews ‘Lost in Space’

Netflix will bring back its sci-fi drama series Lost in Space for a second season, the streaming service said Monday.

The series, a reboot of the CBS series of the same name that ran from 1965-1968 – will return for a sophomore campaign, although Netflix did not reveal a specific return date. The series drew 6.3 million viewers in its first three days after its April 13 launch, according to Nielsen.

Lost In Space stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio and Parker Posey. The series is produced by Legendary Television, with Zack Estrin, Kevin Burns, Jon Jashni, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless all serving as executive producers.
