Netflix Greenlights Three Kids-Targeted Series
Netflix will add three new original series to its lineup of kids-targeted programming to debut in late 2014, the OTT company announced Thursday.
The new DreamWorks Animation-produced titles include King Julien, Puss In Boots and Veggie Tales In The House, according to Netflix officials.
In addition, Netflix and DreamWorks will offer new episodes of its first kids-targeted original series Turbo FAST, which will be available on the streaming service April 4, said the company.
“DreamWorks Animation has an incredible knack for creating characters that kids around the world adore,” said Cindy Holland, Netflix Vice President, Original Content in a statement. “We’re very excited to launch the new episodes of Turbo FAST in the coming weeks, and the three new series by the end of the year."
