NBCSN Tallies Top Morning Premier League Audience

NBCSN's coverage of Manchester United's 2-1 win over Liverpool on March 22 was the most-watched early morning Premier League match in U.S. TV history.
The game, highlighted by Juan Matta's(pictured) pair of goals, averaged 950,000 watchers, the most for a Premier League contest that kicked off Stateside before 10 a.m. (ET), according to officials at the programmer.
Viewership topped out in the 10:45 p.m. (a.m.) quarter hour with 1.2 million watchers.
NBC Universo averaged 146,000 viewers for Liverpool-Manchester United, bringing the combined English- and Spanish-language viewership for the match to nearly 1.2 million viewers.
Season to date, NBC Sports Group’s Premier League viewership has grown 10% to an average of 485,000 viewers, and is up 19% among adults 18 to 49.
NBCSN has televised four of the five most-watched Premier League matches in U.S. cable history.
