NBCSN Kicks Off 'Premier League Breakaway' on Jan. 1

NBC Sports Group will kick off its 2015 coverage of the Premier League by going Red Zone.

NBCSN on Jan. 1 for the first time will present eight of the circuit's matches in wrap-around fashion -- a la NFL Red Zone -- during the 10 a.m. (ET) window. The inaugural Premier League Breakaway will supply live look-ins of the best action, so viewers won't miss a single score or any of the circuit's top action.

Rebecca Lowe will guide the program as it cuts from match to match to follow the most important stories with minimal interruption.

New Year’s Day coverage begins on NBCSN at 7 a.m.  with Premier League Live followed by Stoke City facing third-place Manchester Unitedat 7:45 a.m. Live match coverage concludes with Tottenham against the league-leaders Chelsea at 12:30 p.m. on NBCSN and Telemundo.

At 5:30 p.m., NBCSN will debut a new Premier League Download. Hosted by The Men in Blazers’ Roger Bennett, TheSouthampton Way investigates how a small club can compete with Premier League giants.
