NBC U Gives 2007 Dew Tour Multiplatform Treatment
NBC Universal is rolling out HD, video-on-demand and mobile content surrounding its presentation of the 2007 Action Sports Tour Dew Tour.
The third annual competition -- featuring skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross, with more than 250 athletes from around the world -- will receive 33 hours of mostly live coverage on NBC and USA Network, including a portion of content simulcast on Universal HD.
Coverage began in Baltimore with the Panasonic Open June 22, and it will continue in Cleveland with the Right Guard Open July 19-22; in Portland, Ore., with the Vans Invitational Aug. 16-19; in Salt Lake City with the Toyota Challenge Sept. 20-23; and in Orlando, Fla., with the PlayStation Pro Oct. 18-21.
Participating partners include Comcast, Charter Communications, Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable, EchoStar Communications’ Dish Network and Verizon Communications’ FiOS TV, among others.
