New Corp.’s MySpace social-networking site has picked The Weather Channel’s Weather.com to provide weather information to a new section, available through a link on the MySpace home page and on every user’s personal home page.
The MySpace weather section -- which is co-branded with a Weather Channel logo -- will feature current conditions, five-day forecasts, national and regional maps, weather headlines and weather-related video content and also will link to more in-depth Weather.com content, such as 10-day and hour-by-hour forecasts.
MySpace users will be able to select weather conditions for up to five locations, with the idea that they’ll be able to track weather for their friends and family.
