Multiband Corp. said Wednesday that it has acquired the New Jersey and New York subscribers of private cable operator Ultra Vision Inc.
The company added that it intends to add voice and data services to those systems’ existing video offerings.
“We are very pleased to conclude this acquisition and add to our expanding Northeast subscriber base,” Multiband CEO James L. Mandel said in a prepared statement. “More important, we welcome the management of Ultra Vision to the Multiband team. We are anxious to move forward and grow our operations in this important area of the country.”
Multiband owns cable systems throughout the country with clusters in Minnesota, Missouri, California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut and New York.
