MTV Networks will deploy usage measurement technology from Visible Measures across its more than 340 destination Internet video sites.
Greg Clayman, executive vice president, content distribution and marketing, MTV Networks, said video is core to the group's online portfolio. Therefore, it’s important that MTV understand not only where and when consumers watch video online, but how and why they view on the Internet.
As part of the multi-year agreement, MTVN Global Digital Media and MTV Digital Media Research will use the Visible Measures technology to build a detailed, end-to-end online video performance metrics.
Brian Shin, founder and CEO of Visible Measures said his company is seeing "compelling results" from the initial technology deployments on MTVN.
