Hip-hop reality sitcom Run’s House will debut on MTV: Music Television Thursday, Oct. 13 at 10:30 p.m. (EST/PST), the network said Wednesday.
The series, which stars Rev. Run (Joey Simmons) of Run DMC, immediately follows Making the Band 3, the second season of which kicks off Thursday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m.
MTV said that during Run’s House, Run “must balance releasing his first ever solo album, Distortion, in stores Oct. 18, while raising five spirited children ages 9-21.”
“Rev. Run is a living legend of hip-hop who's still making great music, but now, he's also the dad to an amazing family," executive producer Tony DiSanto said in a prepared statement. “This series takes us inside his world. It's kind of a reality Father Knows Best with comedy, heart, hip-hop and drama, all under one roof at Run’s House.”
