MTV: Music Television said Tuesday that it will debutMTV’s Prom Date Tuesday, May 25 at 4 p.m. (EST/PST).
The four-episode series focuses on a young woman whose parents, teachers, and classmates help to choose her prom date.
Carol, a senior at Merrillville (Ind.) High, will go on dates with 10 different boys, one of whom will ultimately accompany her to the prom. She will not know the winner until the last episode -- the actual prom, Friday, May 28 -- when she opens her door.
