MTV Reheats ‘Sunday Stew’

MTV: Music Television will begin cooking up a new batch of stew on Sunday nights next month.

The musical/pop-culture service will dish out its fourth season of “Sunday Stew,” beginning March 6.

This season’s recipe includes new seasons of auto upgrade series Pimp My Ride at 9 p.m. (EST/PST); Ashton Kutcher’s practical-joke show, Punk’d, at 10 p.m.; and the wild exploits of skateboarder and Jackass alum Bam Margera in Viva La Bam.

The new ingredient in this year’s Stew: Damage Control, in which one teen-ager is left home alone for the weekend while MTV’s hidden cameras follow his or her every move.

Faced with compromising situations thanks to the Damage Control team of actors, parents watch from next door with host and Simple Plan lead singer Pierre Bouvier. They try to guess just what their son or daughter might do next.

Fat Joe is up first, with other guest stars like Vanilla Ice, Kelly Clarskon, Rob Schneider and Wee Man in the wings.
