Lifetime Television announced Monday that Tamera Mowry (Sister, Sister; The Hot Chick) will join the cast of drama Strong Medicine.
The fifth season of the Sunday-night drama premieres June 13 at 9 p.m. (EST/PST).
Mowry will play the role of medical resident Kayla Thornton, "an ambitious young woman from a small town who has always been an overachiever and star student," Lifetime said.
