Mnet America said Bright House Networks is launching the Asian pop-culture network to digital basic customers in all BHN markets across the country.
The network, also carried by BHN programming-contract affiliate Time Warner Cable, is now available to BHN basic digital customers in Central Florida (channel 474), Tampa, Fla. (channel 632), Indianapolis, Ind. (channel 181), Detroit, Mich. (channel 184), Bakersfield, Calif. (channel 94), and Birmingham, Ala. (channel 181), Mnet said.
The network, programmed in English, targets young fans of K-pop music, anime and other genres of entertainment growing in popularity throughout Asia and around the world. Other affiliates include Comcast, Verizon FiOS TV, Cox and Charter Communications. It is owned by Asian entertainment conglomerate CJ Entertainment & Media Group.
