Mediacom Communications and Insight Communications will launch TV Guide’s Listings2Go, the online television-guide application, on their respective portal sites early this month, officials said Wednesday.
Listings2Go is one of the initial phases of “My TV Guide,” the company’s recently announced suite of cross-platform personalized guidance tools and services.
Specific terms of the agreements with Mediacom and Insight were not disclosed.
Mediacom and Insight’s launch of Listings2Go will make TV Guide’s customized listing grids available on their portal sites, enabling their customers to personalize their grid views and search their local TV listings online with 14 days of programming data, genre and HDTV filters and detailed episodic information.
The Listings2Go application can be customized to present users with programming information for every channel lineup and service provider across the United States; or just a certain channel lineup and fixed set of providers.
The Listing2Go launches mark the initial phase of the launch of the My TV Guide cross-platform tools and services; including remote recording capabilities offered to TV Guide’s interactive program guide affiliates, as part of the coming i-Guide release.
My TV Guide products and services are designed to complement existing interactive program guides (IPGs) and are being rolled-out this year, with the initial phase of deployment taking place primarily on the Web.
