MavTV Showcases Carl Performance on Aug. 5

Mav TV will feature the talents of blues and rock and roll performer Max Carl during a concert performance on Sunday night.
Carl will be showcased in a one-hour special on MavTV, which is now presenting its ‘American Real' format, on Aug. 5 at midnight in the second installment of the network's exclusive "Les Paul Kids Rock Free Concert Series".
Carl's performance was captured in HD at the Rhythm Lounge at the Fender Center for the Performing Arts in Corona, which was also a fundraiser for Fender's Kids Rock Free program that provides free and low-cost music lessons to children across Southern California.
Over the past five decades, Carl has been a major contributor to a vast range of musical styles including writing songs with Kenny Loggins and Glenn Frey, touring with Grand Funk Railroad and .38 Special, recording with Bette Midler and Rod Stewart, working with James Brown and cracking the movie score scene with tracks in Police Academy and Weird Science.
