‘Lost Drive-In’ Back to Speed

Speed Channel said Tuesday that it will bring back its “Lost Drive-In” movie block.

The Fox Cable Networks Group-owned service said it has reached an agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution for 18 films to run during the block.

“We are very pleased and excited that our partnership with Warner Bros. is bringing some of the best and most beloved automotive-themed feature films of the 1960s, 70s and 80s to Speed Channel viewers, many for the first time,” Speed vice president of programming Robert Ecker said in a prepared statement.

Movies included in the pact are: Any Which Way You Can, The Betsy, Black Moon Rising, Bullitt, City Heat, Corvette Summer, Freebie and the Bean, Freejack, The Getaway, The Great Race, The Gumball Rally, The Last Run, A Man and a Woman, McQ, Pink Cadillac, Stroker Ace, Then Came Bronson and Viva Knievel!.
