Logo, Stolichnaya Share a Real Toast

Stolichnaya Russian vodka and MTV Networks’ Logo teamed up on a series celebrating the lives of the network’s LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) audience.

The network said Be Real represents a first-of-its-kind commercial-free series made possible through its marketing partnership with Stoli.

Be Real will be jointly produced by Stoli and Logo and debut in the spring of 2007.

The series will be promoted during Logo's worldwide broadcast premiere of documentary Stolichnaya presents Be Real - Stories from QueerAmerica Sunday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m. Logo said the documentary features six members of the LGBT community “who have made a difference in their communities and conduct their lives in an authentic, positive way.”

“Our viewers respond to authentic stories about the LGBT experience and, by helping Logo tell those stories, Stoli deepens its bond with our audience," Logo president Brian Graden said in a prepared statement. "This unique partnership works because the content isn't commercial and because the series' values are consistent with Logo's and Stoli's brands."
