Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid In Action On Fox Soccer Channel

European futbol preseason preparations continue with Fox Soccer Channel lining up coverage of top clubs Liverpool, 2009 Champions League titlist FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in action.
Fernando Torres and Liverpool engaged the Thai national team in Bangkok on July 22 at 9 a.m. (ET), with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.

The "Reds" then square off against the Singapore national team on July 26 at 8 a.m., followed by an Aug. 5 match versus Norwegian Tippeligaen side FC Lyn Oslo starting at 1 p.m.
As for the La Liga entrants, FC Barcelona takes on David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy on Aug 1 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. at 10:30 p.m. That's the nightcap of a twinbill as the network will show the Houston Dynamo and D.C. United at 8 p.m. as part of its MLS Saturday on FSC coverage.
The following Saturday, Aug. 8, will feature seven-and-a-half hours of continuous live soccer coverage on FSC, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. ET with a pair of MLS Saturday on FSC inter-conference clashes: the New England Revolution vs. the Galaxy, followed by the San Jose Earthquakes hosting the Columbus Crew at Candlestick Park in San Francisco.

FC Barcelona will then cap the tripleheader against Mexican powerhouse Chivas de Guadalajara in the final match of its U.S. tour. It will be a rematch of the teams' August 2008 showdown in Chicago, when Barca clubbed Chivas 5-2. Pregame coverage starts at 10 p.m. ET.
Sunday, Aug. 9 will mark the final game of FSC's international summer series, when Real Madrid fans in the U.S. will get their first look at the club's two big name off-season acquisitions, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaká, as the nine-time UEFA Champions League winners take on D.C. United at Fedex Field in Landover, Md. at 2:30 p.m.
