Original drama series Wild Card will return to Lifetime Television for a second season, the network said Wednesday.
The series stars Joely Fisher (Baby Bob, Ellen) as Zoe Busiek, whom Lifetime described as "a free-wheeling, larger-than-life personality whose sister’s sudden death in a car accident forces her to return home to Chicago from Las Vegas and catapults her into the role of guardian to her nieces and nephew."
After averaging a 2.0 Nielsen Media Research household rating, representing 2.1 million viewers, during its first 18-episode run, the network picked up a second 18-episode season.
