Lifetime To Chronicle Late Whitney Houston's Family

Lifetime will spotlight the family of late pop music superstar Whitney Houston in a new reality series, the network announced Friday.

The Houston Family Chronicles (working title), will follow the lives of Houston's sister- in-law and manager Pat Houston and her daughter Rayah; Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina and mother Cissy Houston, as well as Houston's brother Gary, as they continue to deal with the tragic loss of the iconic performer, said network officials.

Houston, 48, drowned last February in a tub at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel.

"The tragic loss of Whitney Houston left a void in the hearts of people all over the world, but certainly none more so than her beloved family," said Rob Sharenow, executive vice president of programming for Lifetime Networks in a statement. "In this series, the multi-generations of the Houston family will bravely reveal their lives as they bond together to heal, love, and grow."
