An ‘L.A. Rush’ for MTV, MTV2

MTV: Music Television and MTV2 will help to promote the release of Midway Games Inc.’s “L.A. Rush,” the networks and the video-game producer said Wednesday.

MTV will hold the “L.A. Rush Watch 'n' Win” sweepstakes beginning Oct. 14, in which the grand-prize winner will receive “a fully pimped-out and juiced-up 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI,” the network said. Viewers can enter by logging onto a Web site ( and answering trivia questions about the video game.

And MTV2 will premiere a video featuring L.A. Rush character Twista and his song, "Hit the Floor," Oct. 10.

MTV Networks and Midway recently announced an agreement to jointly market video games.
