Kendra Ventures Beyond Playboy Mansion With New E! Reality Show
Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson will venture away from the comfy confines of the Playboy mansion in a new reality series on E! Entertainment.
The eight-episode series, tentatively dubbed Kendra, will follow the antics of Wilkinson, one of three girlfriends of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner featured on the E! reality series, as she tries to make it on her own with her new fiancé, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.
"Throughout the five highly successful seasons of the Girls Next Door, Kendra has developed a loyal fan-base with her outrageous personality and trademark laugh," said Lisa Berger, executive vice president of original programming and series development for E!, in a statement.
"Now she's faced with the reality of making it outside the gates of the Mansion and as Kendra's fans are aware, you never know what she's going to do next. We are thrilled to be going into these uncharted waters with her."
Wilkinson is the second of the Girls Next Door trio to land her own series: Bridget Marquardt will host a beach-themed series on Travel Channel this spring titled Bridget's Sexiest Beaches.
