Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus Headline Disney’s Inauguration Specials

Add Disney Channel to the list of cable networks airing Presidential Inauguration shows.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, tween heartthrob musical group the Jonas Brothers and Camp Rock star Demi Lovato will perform as part of the network’s Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future concert special on Jan. 19 from the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.

HBO, BET and MTV are also scheduled to air inauguration shows leading up to Inauguration Day Jan. 20.

The concert, which will honor military families, will be hosted by incoming first lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, according to the network. The event will also feature appearances by Bow Wow, Billy Ray Cyrus, Keke Palmer, and Usher Raymond IV, will also be simulcast on Radio Disney and will be streamed on Disney.com immediately following the culmination of the Disney Channel telecast.

Beginning January 16, the Web site will also feature polls, games and videos on the concert performers and a chat room for users to discuss the event.

The next night, Disney Channel sister broadcast network ABC will air The Neighborhood Ball: An Inauguration Celebration. Musical performers scheduled for the live Neighborhood Inaugural Ball, hosted by President-elect Barack Obama, include Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, JAY-Z, Alicia Keys, Shakira and Stevie Wonder.
