JDSU announced an agreement to purchase Casabyte.
JDSU provides communications test and measurement solutions and optical products for telecommunications-service providers, cable operators and network-equipment manufacturers, while Casabyte offers service-quality-monitoring solutions for mobile-network operators.
Casabyte will be integrated with JDSU’s Communications Test and Measurement division.
JDSU said it expects to complete the transaction during its current fiscal third quarter ending March 31. Financial terms were not disclosed.
