Ion Hangs With 'Mr. Cooper' Weekdays
Ion Television will strip sitcom Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper as part of its summer lineup.
Beginning July 7, Ion, through a deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, will run back-to-back episodes of the show, starring comedian Mark Curry, in the 5 p.m. hour weekdays under the “Laugh Attack” umbrella.
the series originally aired from 1992–1997, as part ABC’s “TGIF” block.
“Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper will be a really fun way to kick off Ion Television’s summer evenings,” said Brandon Burgess, chairman and CEO, Ion Media Networks, in a statement. “Not only is the sitcom terrifically entertaining, but it appeals to a broad, multicultural audience.”
Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper joins The Steve Harvey Show, Family Feud, Quantum Leap, The Dead Zone,ER and an array of movies on Ion’s summer schedule.
