‘Instant Star’ Back For Final Season On The N

The N Thursday announced it will debut the fourth and final season of Instant Star, the Gemini Award-winning program depicting the life of teenager who wins an American Idol-style music competition, on Monday, June 2.

The remaining 12 of 13 episodes will be rolled out every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on the teen-centric network.

In addition, the N has acquired the complete eight-season library of the hit teen comedy That 70s Show and will premiere two half-hour episodes Monday, June 30 at 9 p.m. ET. The network will then begin airing back-to-back episodes every night.

In the premiere episode of the final season of Instant Star, titled "Your Time's Gonna Come," rock star sensation, Jude Harrison (Alexz Johnson) is hard at work on her upcoming third album. As luck would have it, her personal and professional life once again collide as Jude finally has to make the difficult decision to either firmly commit to Jamie and follow him to his new record label or start a new life with Tommy, who has made the ultimate sacrifice for Jude. But when Jude finally picks her man she lets her insecurity get the best of her.

Instant Star is produced in association with CTV by Toronto-based Epitome Pictures, producers of Degrassi: The Next Generation. The series was created by Linda Schuyler, co-creator of the original Degrassi series. Schuyler and Stephen Stohn serve as Executive Producers of Instant Star.

The N, the 24-hour TV network exclusively for and about teens, is currently available in 64 million households via cable, digital cable and satellite, as well on mobile, VOD and broadband.
