Robert Davis has joined The Independent Film Channel as vice president, technology and production, IFC Digital Media and World Picks.
Davis was a consultant for Gartner Inc. and Princeton Video Image.
In his newly created position, Davis will oversee both long-term planning and day-to-day management of operations relative to cross-platform content production, transmission and distribution.
