Humax USA has introduced a 40-hour digital video-recorder from TiVo Inc. that includes a DVD recorder, which retails for $399.
The DRT-400 includes a 40-hour TiVo series 2 DVR, plus a recording and recording/writable progressive scan DVD player.
In addition to pausing live TV, the unit includes search and recording features such as Season Pass, WishList and online scheduling. The box includes a Home Media home networking feature.
Humax said its working a new product line that will be compatible with the new “TiVoToGo” feature that will allow content stored on a hard drive to be transferred to a PC or portable media center.
