History has signed former late night TV host Craig Ferguson to helm a new half-hour talk show, the network said Thursday.
The series, Join Or Die with Craig Ferguson, will center the comedian and former Late, Late Show host in a 30-minute talk show where he will debate provocative and timely topics with a panel of guests which will include celebrities and history experts, said network executives.
"Craig is incredibly knowledgeable, but also has a fun way of getting people engaged in history," said Paul Cabana, executive vice president and head of programming for History in a statement. "It's clear this is his passion project and we're looking forward to having him join the network."
