HGTV Has No Reservations About Preservation
Home & Garden Television is doing its part to salute those who are passionate about preservation.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation, Save America's Treasures and HGTV Tuesday announced this year's “Restore America Heroes,” who will be honored at the “Second Annual Restore America: A Salute to Preservation Gala” June 15 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
Actress Diane Keaton, musician Don Henley, former Sara Lee Corp. chairman and CEO John H. Bryan, Sen. Mike DeWine (R-Ohio), Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) and the Travelers Conservation Foundation are this year’s honorees.
The Restore America Gala marks the second year of the successful partnership of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and HGTV, inspired by popular HGTV series Restore America and focused on raising awareness of preservation.
